My Allotment- An Introduction

My allotment can be found in the North west cornor of Bolton tucked in the cornor of Smithalls Country Park. The woods that surround my plot on two sides are deciduous, the main species being oak and beech and date back to the 12th century. The site is south facing and open and so has always been a good spot to set up a feeding station so that I could photograph the birds. I have only been feeding the birds a few short months to get them used to coming and now I am ready to begin photographing them. This journal will show how I went about it and what birds visited me.
