"A
sunny passion" page 2 |
| |
I have a very real passion
for ducks. I dont care if they are wild or captive to me beauty is beauty.
Today the light is beautiful creating some wonderful colours on the
water. In the reserve I can get down really low and do some of these
ducks justice. |

Even a pigeon in
the right light comes under my scrutiny today. A rare event indeed! |

and a male Greenfinch sits and poses for me.

Back at the mere
and the geese have just arrived. I saw these geese feeding in fields
close to Curlew Lane earlier. I could watch the patterns they make in
the sky all day. |

The Whoopers are
on the move too but sadly not in my direction. Increasing numbers are
taking off and flying to feed in the fields over the far end of the
reserve. Time for me to move if I am to catch any decent flight shots
today. A large number of swans are feeding on the lakes way beyond the
hides with it seems, plenty of aggressive behaviour. |
