Before the kittens were born my daughter
said she wanted a male black and white kitten that she could call Isacc.
The first two kittens born were tabbies and female but at 2am she got
her wish and Isacc, the only male in the litter was born. The photo
below shows the first time he was properly handled. His eyes are still
closed. |

7 days old Isaccs' eyes were the first to open fully. From the moment he was born it was obvious that he was one very alert kitten. |

Isacc is just as vocal as Bruiser but he
isnt quite as big. No signs of him getting on his feet just yet but
I do not think he will be far behind. |

2 weeks old (March 16th 2009) Tess keeps her kittens scrupilously clean. I love to watch how she pins them down and licks them thoroughly. Quite often they cry out in outrage at being disturbed often when asleep. She licks their bottoms to encourage them to empty their bowels and not a drop ever gets on the blankets. Here is Isaac protesting against her attentions. |

Isacc is now starting to play. He rolls
on his back and wriggles and stretches and tries to get Sam to play
with him but he doesnt seem to want to. Today I also caught Tess with
him in her mouth outside the blankets but instead of moving him I think
she was bringing him back as they are getting more mobile and curious
now. Their eye sight seems better and they look up at me when I am close
by. |

Isaac is definitley the most laid back
of all the kittens. He is one cool dude. He loves to sleep on the back
with his arms and legs spread wide and he loves to roll on his back
and play, wriggling his body and nudging the other kittens. The other
kits just look at him not knowing what to do. Im sure very soon though
they will play with him. Isacc has the clearest and the most beautiful
blue eyes. Ol blue eyes I call him. |

And Isacc is making the most pretty cat.
He has such a beautiful face. I love the black bib under his chin and
he is by far the tamest and most outgoing. It is amazing how their characters
keep changing. He is now doing a kind of half walk. |
