Moses Gate Bolton October 2008 - Some birds are just so hard to get close to that when you find one acting differently you have to take your chance. This bird was swimming in the shallows, almost unheard of. Tracking skills were put in action. Willow trees are great for hiding in but sadly his eye sight is still much better than mine and he was off. Ok so he isnt in the sky at the moment of the photograph but he soon was and all I could see was the back of him.
