Greylag goose

Geese look so graceful when they are high up in the skies, calling to one another in their tight formations. However, as they come into land the ranks are quickly broken. For the last twenty feet or so, the legs go down and with wings balanced precariously out they seem anything but graceful as they touch down. This goose was one of many wild greylags at Slimbridge in August 2005.
