Psilos Flight photography

Moses Gate Country Park August 2008. Herons are slow flyers but are very devious and more often that not they are always flying away from you. This bird was sat on a wooden platform in an ideal position to fly right passed me. All I had to do was wait and be ready for when someone walked passed and scared him up. It isnt often with flight shots that you get to prepare and be ready for the action when it finally comes. For once the bird performed exactly how I wanted him to!
