Psilos Flight photography

Martinmere October 8th 2008 and the Pink footed geese have well and truely arrived. As a change from the norm the geese have collected in the field right outside the reserve and are all put into flight by someone walking nearby. The light was perfect for photographing them as they all, like a Mexican wave, took to the skies. I love the geese on the ground yet to take off as it gives a real feeling of where the geese have just come from.
