The effects that you can create from birds in flight is infinate. The clouds can give the drama and the sun can give the mood and the opportunity to show as much or as little detail as you like. Pink footed geese have such subtle colours and it is complimented beautifully here against the blue sky. By picking out a smaller grouping most of the birds detail is also retained.
