January 24th 2008 was a day of galeforce winds and a wind chill to stop anyone in their tracks. At Martinmere though I persisted as the light was superb and I was treated to four hours of stunning aerial displays. Pintails are one of my target ducks in flight and I had many to go at. Today they came close enough to get the shots I really wanted.
