Black Toft Sands East Yorkshire October
2008 - Ruff more than any other wader cause confusion with identification.
They have such variable plumages but to my eye have a distnctive look
all their own. Black toft gave me the opportunity to photograph them
against a smooth clear background but sadly were further away than I
would have liked. Still there can be nothing more beautiful in nature
than the intricate details of the wing. |
