The North Wales coast and below freezing conditions makes for challenging photography. We waited eight hours in a freezing field for Short eared owls to show. They were due to show at 2pm and at 2.10 they put in an appearnace. Two birds for about twenty minutes. Happily they came very close. Focus was difficult due to long grass and the extreme cold but luckily we managed a few decent shots.
