February 2008 Caerlaverock - Was out looking for Barnacle
geese but naturally I found Whooper swans too. At dead on 11am these
swans fly from one lake to the next to be fed. In the main there isnt
enough room to photograph these birds as they come in but a few of
them do circle round so making it easier. The light was also pretty
harsh so a small aperture is essential to control over exposure in
the whites.
