Martinmere September 2009 - The Pink feet over the last week have been returning in their thousands. Today on the reserve there were only several hundred but it was still wonderful to see them for the first time this season. They were very flighty and with the presence of up to eight Grey herons at once it was one scare too many . Around lunchtime they had had enough and they all flew out towards the coast.
