Martinmere November 6th 2011- Early November and this is the first time I have seen the Whoopers upon their return. There are still less than half the number back but it is great to see them again. If was feared that the breeding season this year had not been so good but already there are good numbers of juveniles around. This photograph for me sums up the very essence of Martinmere.
