Psilos bird journal - Fairhaven lake

Fairhaven lake is situated alongside the Ribble estuary in Lytham St Annes on the west coast of Lancashire. The estuary in winter can be home to 250,000 migratory birds including Dunlin, Redshank, Golden plover, Oystercatcher, Turnstone and Knot. On the lake Red breasted mergansers and sometimes grebes and divers can be seen.
