Australian Wood duck - psilos bird photography

Also known as the maned goose this duck is found throughout Australia, except in areas that are really dry. More likely to be seen on land than in the water it is a grazing duck that feeds on grass and plants. They are close relatives to the North American Wood duck. It is a shy bird that is regularly kept in captivity.
