This resident is one of the cleverest of
all our birds. It is very adaptable and as a result can be found living
in a wide range of habitats. Unlike other species of the crow family
this is a mostly solitary bird often seen alone, though sometimes in
pairs. Nesting sites include trees, cliffs and even buildings. Its diet,
as its name suggests can include carrion and scraps but also insects,
worms, seeds and fruit. |
