Red billed Pintail- psilos bird photography

Also known as Red billed teal. In the wild this is a common species found in Madagascar; East and southern Africa. Outside the breeding season it is a gregarious species that is found in just about any waterway. It feeds in shallow water and is often found near temporary pools and flooded land. This is a very unassuming little duck which I think is vastly underrated. Sexes are alike.
